PERCEPTIONS OF THE RESIDENTS OF ST. JUDE VILLAGE PHASE 4A ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the profile of the residents of St. Jude
Subdivision Phase4A, Barangay Mayao Crossing, Lucena City in terms of their age,
sex, and educational attainment. The study also determined the perceptions of the
residents about the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine during the
COVID-19 pandemic. The study utilized a descriptive type of research. Self-made
questionnaire was distributed to the respondents who were composed of 50 residents
from the said area of study. Results show that majority of the respondents are female
who belong to the age group 21-25 years old which are college graduates. Moreover,
the respondents highly practice/follow the rules and protocols implemented during the
COVID-19 pandemic and have a positive perception of the implementation of Enhanced
Community Quarantine. Output based on the findings of this study includes the
dissemination of flyers about protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic.
