Effects of Cyberbullying to the Students’ Mental Health in the New Online Platform of Education

Abstract
Cyberbullying is the use of electronic devices to send and communicate with the
function of causing harm to other person by means of intimidating and threatening. It
caused psychological problems such as anxiety, low self-esteem, loneliness, social
exclusion, and poor academic performance. As the situation of today’s education
system, many students are experiencing cyberbullying which may lead to mental issues.
The objective of this study is to determine how grave the effect of cyberbullying to the
well-being of the students and to come up solution to this issue, this study also identify
the effects of cyberbullying to the behavior of the students mentioned in this study. To
answer this, the researchers have conducted a survey and gathered some data
regarding the effects of cyberbullying as well as the effect on the behavior of the
students. And as the victim of cyberbullying increase the researcher identified some
prevention method to minimize the effect of cyberbullying to the students who is
vulnerable to this issue
