In order to achieve the researchers? goal in enhancing the facilities layout at Dory?s Ice cream, the researchers conducted a research and study in order to gain knowledge regarding it. Their observations of the existing condition of the company together with the gathered information through different means became the baseline on how they would plan to do good and accurate actions. They studied the need of people in the organization which is one of the keys to planning for a good facility layout and design. And for that, they came up with the use of different IE tools which is effective and mostly used by researchers in many forms; the facilities layout and design, flow process chart, motion and time study, 5s system, and ishikawa diagram, after they conducted the observation of the workplace and activities, and the survey with the workers. It had been evaluated through the means of post survey.
