Perceptions of Grade 7 P.E Teachers in Teaching Philippine Folk Dances in Flexible Learning Modalities

Abstract
The study focused on the perceptions of grade 7 PE teachers teaching in public schools in the Division of Lucena City. The researcher made a four-part question as the purpose of the study, which aims to determine the capability of teachers to cope with online learning with flexible learning modalities and focuses on the perceptions of teachers in teaching the Philippine Folk Dances. The researcher's number of respondents for the study is thirty (30) teachers from the lower grade levels of each public school. The purposive sampling technique was used in this study. The researcher used standard and statistical tools in this study to make sure that the interpretation was accurate. A quantitative-descriptive method used by the researcher. This method, which entails data collection, tabulation of the data collected, and interpreted utilized the following formula of percentage and weighted mean to the interpretation of the significance of what will be described and analyzed in the study findings, will be applied appropriately to the nature of the study on grade 7 teachers specializing in P.E in teaching Philippine Folk Dances in Flexible Learning Modalities. The results were collated and analyzed quantitatively. The findings reveal that the most significant teaching styles and techniques have been practiced and used by teachers to broaden their development in teaching. The researcher makes conclusions that enlighten the perceptions of teachers who are used to teaching under flexible learning modalities. By providing more opportunities for learners to discover and develop at their own pace, teachers lead these learners to create more positive engagement through the use of flexible learning modalities. Specific recommendations for the significant people involved were identified and recommended by the researcher in order to provide the learners with choices, which is frequently referred to as personalized learning and will be guided by the teachers. Recommendations are pertaining to the improvement of the results of the study.
