Level of Achievement and Challenges Encountered by Selected Elementary Pupils in Performing Modular Activities in Sariaya, Quezon

Abstract
This study identified the level of achievement and challenges encountered by the respondents through modular activities. In the present school year, tradition educational system change into modular based educational system. This study aims to determine the level of achievement and challenges encountered by the selected students in performing modular activities. In this way, teachers would be able to see if the students are learning and understanding the lessons given to them. Also, the researcher discovered the challenges that students facing in accomplishing their modular activities especially in this time of COVID-19 pandemic. Level of achievement of the student need support from the parents and teacher. Student’s achievement will be higher through a good scaffolding tool and reinforcement coming from the parents and teacher. They should have a proper communication in monitoring the progress of the student at home in accomplishing their modular activities. Evaluating student performance is necessary to ensure student’s achievement in doing their modular activity.
The researcher used the descriptive type of method to gather the relevant data. As quantitative, the researcher used statistical treatment to analyze and interpret the data.
The researcher found out that based on the findings; majority of the respondents is female with a percentage of 53% and age ranging 11 years old. In terms of grade level, most of the respondent are grade 5 and grade 6 both with percentage of 29% out of 100%. “Learn to set my priority” with a weighted mean of 3.82 which highly achieve are respondents choice as always achieved in doing modular activity. The respondents rarely encountered challenges in doing modular and it has a mean weight of 2.79.
Based on the data gathered in this study, the objective of finding out how long students can achieve and face the challenges in able to accomplish or finish their modular activities. The researcher recommended school should conduct seminar about the achievement that the student can get through accomplishing their modular activities, the student should learn how to deal with the challenges they will encounter while doing modular activity, to the future researchers, this research can serve as their reference material when they pursue similar kind of research topic.
