Abstract

This study determined the manageme nt practices and organizational performance of business enterprises in CALABARZON and were made bases in developing a management practice enhancement program. It assessed the extent of management pract ices of business enterprise in terms of planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating, controlling as well as examined the organizational performance of business enterprises in terms of finance s, market, operations, employee performance and corporate soci al responsibility and to investigate the challenges encountered by business enterprises in management practices. It also answered if there are significant differences in the perceived management practices and organizational performance of respondents when grouped by background characteristics. The researcher utilized a combination of purposive and quota sampling. The respondents of the study are composed of different business enterprises within the geographical boundaries of the Region IV A CALABARZON. Re sults revealed that most business enterprise conduct planning in their management practices and it is recommended that any business enterprise should have a clear and long term goals that set the direction of the business to help identify necessary actions on making their business the best in its industry. The findings of the study and the output which is a Management enhancement program must be viewed and utilized as a guide to have a long term business success
