Mobile Development: Juan Tamad and The Flea Killer: A 3D Short Animation

Abstract
The project covers the development of a 3D short animation mobile development entitled Juan Tamad and The Flea Killer. The study used Unity3D, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, and Linux Multimedia Studio (LMMS) as the key development software. This study aimed to develop a 3D short animation that can be used and enjoyed by everyone. It allows the users to understand the story behind the short animation and, at the same time to learn what they were about to experience in this kind of application. This project emphasize the importance of reading for audience who would like to watch animation and at the same time enjoys reading. The document shows an Agile Methodology of the implementation of the animation. The study chose agile methodology because it is suitable for animation development. It is adaptive rather than predictive, a self-adaptive process, dynamic, and continuous. The goal of the 3D Short Story Animation is to entertained through animation and to be immersed, learning each of the character, understanding and enhancing reading ability with 3D visuals and life lessons. It is possible to conceptualize the concept and story of the animation based on a fictional Filipino short story and make it into a mobile animation.
