Abstract
This study aimed to determine the impact of internet in the working habits of seafarer while onboard. The gathering of data was conducted in Southfield Agencies Inc. through descriptive research. A total of 100 respondents answered the questionnaires and were identified already to have an experience onboard ship. This study revealed the effectiveness of the internet onboard ship in all the shipping or vessels around the world. As shown in the findings, records and data of this research show the advantages of the internet in the life of the seafarers. The study implied that if it was improved, it will be more effective and the negative effective will be eliminated. This study also implied that when the applications for the internet on board was properly installed and continuously developed, it could be a replacement to the traditional way of communication with the family and could also lessen the problem that the seafarers experience onboard.
