The Safety Awareness of RORO Vessel Passengers on Fire Safety Practices and Emergencies

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the safety awareness of RORO vessel passengers on fire safety practices and emergencies on board. The gathering of data was conducted in Batangas Port through descriptive research. A total of 100 passenger respondents who boarded a RORO vessel answered the survey questionnaire. Results revealed that the safety awareness of RORO vessel passengers on fire safety practices and emergencies could help make the passengers aware of the different preparations on different emergency situations on board a RORO vessel. Though this study safety awareness for passengers could be helpful to avoid and lessen casualties during fire emergency situations.
