This employed the qualitative-descriptive method of research that made use of discourse analysis and qualitative analysis. Respondents are the local residents within the area, port staff and the management. Data were taken from local residents within the area, port staff and the management’s outcomes using the designed questionnaire. To further qualify and quantify the results, data were subjected to average weighted mean. Port personnel or actors were still contented on the waste management practices of the port. In general, the respondents agreed that there were no problems encountered in waste management of the port. However, the least three statement indicators from the study conducted should be given priority for further improvement even though its current state is still acceptable to port personnel. It is recommended that port personnel should sustain and maintain good practices in terms of waste management in the port. They should consider the low ranking statement indicators as areas for improvement even through it is acceptable on its current state. Ship personnel should comply and actively participate on the waste management practices and improvement of the port. Local officials and national government officials,
