Completed2018

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the usability of an interactive tour instructional material in teaching tour guiding course. It delved into interactive tour content and design and its usability as instructional material. Survey and unstructured interview were done to gather data for the study. For the analysis and interpretation, frequency counts, weighted mean and percentage were utilized. Results of the study showed that the respondents generally agreed that the layout and design of the interactive tour instructional material is of good quality and the content is easy to understand. It has positive impact in the learning process of the students, that majority of the respondents were motivated to be more interested in the course. The study recommends that other teachers should develop more interactive teaching materials on different tourist destinations/attractions to enhance the teaching and learning of the course among students. This study aimed to assess the usability of an interactive tour instructional material in teaching tour guiding course.
