Abstract

The current research study establish a comparative study on Grade 12 Students in Front Office and Food and Beverage and other domains. Results help institution to know the trends of the students occupational interest totally, which would further aid institutions and industry to make decisions on implementation of taking up the course, introducing specialized areas and creating enough employment opportunities in the thrust domains. Specifically the study investigate on is 1st the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of Age, Sex, Senior high School Track, and their Family Monthly income 2nd the interest domain trends of Grade 12 students in Manuel S. Enverga , 3RD the problems encountered of the students in choosing their course, and lastly the career plans of Grade 12 students in the hospitality and tourism industry after graduation. The researchers used descriptive research design in answering the study’s problems with quantitative method; this method is used to know the interest Domains of Grade 12 Students of Manuel S. Enverga in choosing a course. The Respondents of the Study are the Graduates of Senior High School S.Y. 2020 of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation that consists of 100 . Out of it we gathered a total of 50 respondents. The study employ a survey research type of study which is the most fundamental tools for all quantitative research studies. The study concluded and recommended, to continue to expose the students to the real and practical situations such as seminars about Tourism Management and Hospitality Management for the reason that these are the strategies that may help them to choose a course and for them to know more in Tourism Course and Hospitality Course and to prepare for the future employment that will give students further opportunity in the future when they graduated.
