Evaluation of the Ilocos Tour as a Learning Experience of Tourism Management Students in Relation With Educational Tourism

Abstract
This study provided an evaluation of Ilocos Tour as a learning experience of Tourism Management students in relation with Education Tourism.
Education tourism as sometimes even called as educational travel or EDU tourism is an increasingly popular new trend in the global tourism industry. This study focused on the evaluation of the Tourism Management Department’s Ilocos Tour and how it affected the learning experiences of those who participated in the said tour. It highlighted how the tourism students see and evaluate the tour in terms of its relevance and connection to their field or major.
This study employed the quantitative approach. The respondents of the study were the students who are taking up Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management who have experienced the Ilocos tour.
Based form the findings, the respondents strongly agree that the Ilocos Tour has a great relevance to their field,; that it contributes highly enough to the learning process and experiences as a student. From the findings and conclusions of the study, the recommendation is to implement the educational tour in Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation yearly, since the Ilocos tour turns out to be highly effective.
