Abstract

For MSEUF, as an academic institution, it is important to see the academic development in the institution to ensure in achieving to deliver quality education. The project aimed to develop a student academic performance monitoring system that utilized the concept of descriptive analytics in order to help stakeholders to adequately monitor the academic performance of MSEUF college students. The proponents utilized RAD software methodology in developing the system using web-based tools. The content and features of the system are composed of summarized and analyzed ad hoc reports, pivot table, and charts of the students’ academic records. After the development, the system underwent system evaluation participated by deans and director of academic departments including the OSA. The evaluators gave MSEUF Metrics an over-all “Very Much Attainable” remark with a mean of 4.69 which signifies that the system achieved proper characteristics of a good system software.
