A Correlational Study Between Academic Performance in Tour Guiding Escorting W/ PDPR and Procedure, and Events Management and Procedure and OJT of the Tourism Students

Abstract
The College of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Management of Manel S. Enverga University Foundation envisions itself as a globally competitive hospitality institution and its mission is to produce competent hospitality professionals adequately prepared in the practice of their professions supportive of national developing goals and standards of global excellence. As part of the department’ program, students undergo a two- On-The-Job Training Practicum, first is during our Second Year Third Term and the last is during the Fourth Year Second Semester taking 350 hours on both ends completing a total number of 700 hours which is one of the requirements for completing the practicum for Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Program.
Through this study, the researchers aimed to understand the significance of the two subjects resulting in their OJT evaluation and to correlate the two subjects to the performance in their OJT evaluation.
