Developing A Travel Guide Book In Promoting Tourist Destination In Lucban Quezon

A traveling Guide book has all the information about a place it is designed for the use of the tourists. It has all the information about the place like the accommodation, restaurants, transportation, resort, activities, ecotourism sites, historical and cultural tourist destination, famous souvenir and delicacies and map of the palace. Different kinds of guide books exist, focusing on different aspects of travel, from adventure travel to relaxation, or aimed at travelers with different incomes, or focusing on sexual orientation or types of diet. But then the researchers still chose to focus on developing a traveling guide book to promote tourist destinations in Lucban Quezon. The researchers used the qualitative type of data and chose a phenomenological design because it is best served to answer the questions and the purpose of the study. The program participants are from Lucban Quezon because the researchers chose the local of the study. The result of the study revealed that majority of the respondents revealed a common view with regards to the respondent’s expectation of a traveling guide book is that it must be informative. Also the features of a traveling guide book is very helpful lin traveling matters. The participants revealed that the importance of developing a traveling guide book in helping the municipality is that it promotes tourism. Most of the respondents revealed that they prefer to have a companion when traveling. And lastly travel guide book is very helpful throughout vacations.
