The ASEAN INTEGRATION and its implication to education as perceived by the selected graduating students of MSEUF College of Education School Year 2016-2017

Abstract
Education has undergone series of modifications in the last three years. From changing the once ten-year curriculum to the K to 12 curriculum, it opens the door towards the development of quality of education in the Philippines
The study attempted to identify the perceptions of graduating students of MSEUF College of Education to the ASEAN Integration, an evidence that manifested Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s preparedness for ASEAN Integration.
The researcher used descriptive method of research with the use of questionnaire depicting the perceived implication of ASEAN Integration to education among the fifty (50) selected graduating students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation College of Education in Lucena City.
Findings of the study led the researcher to believe that ASEAN Integration provided abundant opportunities in terms of jobs, business, training and education. Therefore, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation is prepared for this integration as all the indicators of a well-equipped educational institution were apparent and present in it. To supplement its involvement to the ASEAN integration, the researcher encouraged the respondents and the teachers alike to continuously attend seminars, trainings and workshops on topics relative to the 21st century trends to further develop their skills, either technical/vocational or their field of specialization. Lastly, she suggested that this study be used to advance researches pertaining to ASEAN Integration.
