THE EFFECTIVENESS OF WORLD TRAVEL EXPO IN PROMOTING TOURIST DESTINATIONS IN QUEZON PROVINCE

Abstract

This research has focused on the effectiveness of the World Travel Expo in Promoting Tourist Destinations of Quezon Province. This is to determine what are the demographic profile of the informants in terms of name, name of the company, gender, age and position. And also, this research focuses about the perceptions and purposes of the exhibitor same from Quezon in joining the travel expo, study the changes and the impact of the exhibitor in the said event in some tourist destinations in Quezon Province. The informants will be from the town on Quezon that will be personally interviewed. The said informants will be asked various questions regarding the impact/ changes/ growth in their institution after being one of the exhibitors in the World Travel Expo. In this study, the method used is the phenomenological method, it is, the use of combination of methods, such as conducting interviews, reading documents, watching videos, or visiting places and events, are needed to understand the means of informants based on whatever‘s being examined. The informants were; Rain Summer Travel and Tours, Mallari Distillery, Martha‘s Handicraft, My Journey Travel and Tours and the SUNBURST Travel and Tours. The gathered data will be presented, analyzed and interpreted. And also, the given data were summarized, concluded and were given a recommendations by the researchers.
