Abstract

The researcher‘s interest was about effects of Local foods as determinants of culinary tourism in Quezon Province This study determined the contribution of Quezon Province specialty foods to its tourism industry in term of economic benefits and to propose a plan of action to promote the native Filipino food of Quezon specialty destination. The researchers used descriptive and qualitative method with tourism officer, guests and restaurants owner as respondents. The researchers recommended that the restaurant‘s owner may enhance these specialty food delicacies of Quezon to be more attractive and refreshing for the tourist to increase the tourism industry in Quezon enhance the quality of the native Filipino food and the characteristics of people in Quezon and create more native Filipino foods for continue develop their economic resources.
