KONEKTICS: AN INTELLIGENT GUEST WIFI SYSTEM WITH ORDERING MANAGEMENT, ANALYTICS, AND STRATEGIC MARKETING PLATFORM FOR RESTAURANTS AND CAFÉS

Businesses, to be adept in the ever-changing needs of its market, must look into means of developing their operations. Avenues can be exhausted as to the use of information technology and its integration with business analytics. The primary purpose of this study was to develop a marketable intelligent guest WiFi system that could establish customer database to be used by restaurants and cafés for smarter marketing and promotion of their products and services named Konektics: An Intelligent Guest WiFi System with Ordering Management, Analytics, and Strategic Marketing Platform for Restaurants and Cafés. The project was developed using the Agile Methodology under scrum, with six phases namely: concept phase, iteration or inception, construction, transition or release, production, and retirement. The researchers have come up to follow these phases excluding the last phase which is the retirement phase because of the processes that the research underwent with development and revisions. Having the concept phase as the basis of the research, it was then composed of the software requirements, hardware requirements, and knowledge requirements. Aside from developing the system, the researchers conducted a product pricing to know the marketability of Konektics. After developing the system, its end users evaluated the project using the ISO 25010 and got a “very good” result from the business owners or staffs with 3.89 as a weighted average and an “excellent” result from the café customers with 4.59 as a weighted average.
