This study aimed to determine the BENEFITS THAT CAN BE DERIVED FROM THE MARITIME PROFESSION. The gathering of data was conducted in Quezon Province, District 2. This study was limited to the perceptions of fifty (50) licensed seafarers. Results revealed the findings in the benefits that the seafarers could have as shown by the records through the data gathered. This study would benefit students by making them informed about the benefits they can get when they take the maritime profession. Although it was not as great as other research, this could help students to be motivated as well. Meanwhile the seafarers should have the proper knowledge in the common benefits that a seafarer might have in the company where they work. This study implied that being in this said profession, one could help them benefit in ways such as financial reward, travel opportunity and insurance benefits.
