The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) is an undergraduate teacher education program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization or major in the secondary level.

    Entry Level:

    • High School Social Studies Teacher: Teach social studies subjects to secondary students. Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and engage in classroom management.
    • Teaching Assistant: Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities. Provide support to students and assist with grading.
    • Education Program Coordinator: Support the development and implementation of educational programs. Assist in coordinating workshops, events, and extracurricular activities.


    • Lead Social Studies Teacher: Take on a leadership role within the social studies department. Mentor junior teachers, contribute to curriculum development, and lead department meetings.
