University Discipline Action Committee (UDAC)
The University Discipline Action Committee (UDAC) serves as the university’s internal ethics oversight body responsible for addressing ethical concerns related to institutional governance, administrative practices, and disciplinary matters. The committee functions independently from research ethics boards and does not handle research-related cases.
Ensuring Ethical Governance and Institutional Integrity
UDAC ensures that ethical standards are maintained across university operations by evaluating complaints, facilitating resolutions, and recommending policy improvements that promote fairness, transparency, and accountability.
The committee is composed of appointed representatives from various university sectors. For Academic Year 2025–2026, the UDAC is chaired by Dr. Ronaldo C. Maaño, with members Cleofe O. Atayde, Dr. Dennis Albert N. Gonzales, Junabelle B. Reyes, Rey Marco Z. Casiño, Ervien C. Roxas, and Geobert S. Delos Reyes. Their appointments are formalized under HRD Memo No. AP-25-541.
Regular Meeting Schedule
To ensure transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to ethical concerns, the UDAC convenes on a monthly basis throughout the academic year.
Meeting Schedule:
The UDAC meets once every third or fourth week of the month, at the HRD Conference Room, HRD Building.
Additional meetings may be called as necessary in urgent or exceptional cases.
