MSEUF partners host HIV education session for safer, healthier students

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s University Collegiate Student Council, with partner organizations, held an EUCares HIV awareness seminar in partnership with Dealing Against the Stigma of HIV (DASH) Quezon Province Inc. at the university on May 2, 2024.

Organizers framed the session around prevention, testing, treatment-as-prevention, and students’ rights to confidential services, while partners briefed attendees on referral pathways and campus support contacts.

The program encouraged open dialogue and peer advocacy to counter misinformation common on social media and in informal circles. The campaign message urged students to act on credible guidance: “Let us prioritize our health and make the world a better place,” EUCares promoted in event materials.

Student leaders distributed quick-reference cards that listed verified hotlines and local clinic hours and invited volunteers to join ongoing peer education drives under EUCares.
