OSAS BED-GTO orients Senior High students on values, services, and programs

MSEUF conducted a Senior High School orientation program for students and parents to introduce academic programs, support services, and the University’s core values as the new school year begins.

Basic Education Principal Reina Pasumbal thanked parents and guardians for entrusting the University with their children’s education and emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between the school and families in supporting students’ holistic growth.

Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academics and Research Benilda Villenas inspired students by highlighting the role of the University’s core values—mindfulness, service, excellence, unity, and fortitude—in shaping both academic success and personal development.

HUMSS-AD Track Coordinator Nikko Del Moro introduced the Senior High School faculty and University officials, while ABM-HE Track Coordinator Jennifer Tadiosa presented the Student Personnel Services team. Kimberly Joy Javier discussed the University’s mission and vision, helping students understand MSEUF’s aspirations and institutional direction.

Dara Jane Formarejo shared the University’s goals, emphasizing the development of research-based knowledge, leadership skills, and professional competence. Program host Kristhine Joy Lusterio further explained the University’s core values and their role in guiding students toward holistic development.

The University Concert Singers energized the audience with musical performances. Students were also oriented on key support services, including the Library, Medical and Dental Clinic, Prefect of Discipline, and the Guidance and Testing Office, as well as payment procedures.

BED CES Coordinator Ian Guiruela presented the Busog, Lusog, Talino Program audio-visual presentation, highlighting opportunities for student involvement in community extension initiatives. The BED Dance Troupe followed with a lively performance.

The department recognized top performers in the OASIS 3 Aptitude Survey, awarding certificates and tokens. A trivia game facilitated by Ariel Regala added an interactive segment, with students receiving simple prizes.

Assistant Principal Rommel Hiloma delivered the closing remarks, thanking parents for their continued trust and encouraging students to apply the lessons from the orientation as they begin their Senior High School journey at MSEUF.

The orientation reflects the University’s commitment to Excellence, Unity, and Mindfulness by fostering strong partnerships with families and guiding students through a values-centered educational environment. It reinforces Service and Fortitude as MSEUF prepares learners for academic growth, leadership, and responsible citizenship.
