Enverga University supports Mauban’s education initiatives at 4th State of the Municipality Address
To support initiatives to strengthen education, economic development, and public service through partnerships, including its collaboration with the University, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation participated in the 4th State of the Municipality Address of Mauban Mayor Bautista Erwin Dwight "Ninong" Pastrana, Mauban Gymnasium, July 8.
Representing Enverga University at the annual address were Chairman of the Board and CEO Wilfrido Enverga and President and COO Naila Leveriza, who joined local officials, stakeholders, and community partners during the presentation of the municipality's accomplishments and future priorities.
In his report, Mayor Pastrana outlined programs and initiatives that continue to support the growth and development of Mauban, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with educational institutions in expanding access to quality higher education.
Among the key announcements was the selection of 10 scholars from Mauban who will pursue higher education through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program at Enverga University in Lucena. The mayor also announced the upcoming enrollment of five Mauban scholars at the Enverga Law School, further strengthening the municipality's investment in developing future professionals.
Mayor Pastrana also recognized Enverga Mauban for its contribution to the municipality's growth and economic stability. He acknowledged the institution's continuing role in expanding educational opportunities and supporting the development of the local community through accessible and relevant academic programs.
