Academic leaders join three-day OBE and AUN-QEx training


To strengthen academic quality assurance and curriculum enhancement, the Human Resource Department of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, in collaboration with the Committee on Faculty Design, Development and Delivery Program, conducted the OBE and Constructive Alignment Workshop and AUN Qualification Excellence at the DTYES Alumni Center, June 2-4.
A total of 48 academic deans, program chairs, department chairs and subject matter experts participated in the three-day workshop.
Rodrigo Belleza Jr., dean of the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies and chairperson of the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance Self-Assessment Reports Committee, facilitated the training.
Through lectures, workshops and collaborative discussions, participants strengthened their understanding of outcomes-based education, constructive alignment and quality assurance frameworks.
The sessions also provided academic leaders and faculty experts with opportunities to review curriculum practices and align learning outcomes, teaching strategies and assessment methods with institutional and international quality standards.
The activity reinforced the university’s commitment to academic excellence, curriculum enhancement and continuous quality improvement.
The workshop aligned with Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s vision of becoming a globally competitive university and its mission of producing graduates with research-based knowledge, leadership and professionalism.
