Enverga University hosts Cory Quirino for 2026 Faculty and Employees Congress


To prioritize mindfulness and holistic well-being during the 2026 Faculty and Employees Congress, media personality and wellness advocate Cory Quirino encouraged faculty members and employees of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation at the University Gymnasium, March 12.
Serving as the keynote speaker, Quirino centered her discussion on the effects of workplace stress on physical and mental health. She urged educators and university employees to adopt healthier daily habits and practice practical ways of managing stress before it affects their overall well-being. Throughout her session, she emphasized a holistic approach to wellness by highlighting the connection among the body, mind, and spirit.
The university community welcomed Quirino with a cultural presentation by the MSEUF Banyuhay Dance Troupe upon her arrival. Miss Enverga University Mia Elisse Poblete also accompanied the guest speaker throughout the program.
During the opening ceremony, Vice President for Administration Atty. Dario Opistan formally introduced Quirino to the audience. At the conclusion of her keynote address, University Chairman Atty. Wilfrido Enverga presented her with a plaque of appreciation in recognition of her contribution to the congress, with University President Naila Leveriza joining the presentation. During her talk, Quirino also shared that she had long been acquainted with Atty. Enverga.
The program also featured another cultural performance by the MSEUF Banyuhay Dance Troupe and concluded with a photo opportunity attended by the university's deans, heads of affiliate schools, faculty members, and employees. Dr. Maria Isabel Granada, director of the Office of Scholarship, Endowment, Job Placement and Alumni Relations, served as master of ceremonies.
