MSEUF honors Founder in 78th foundation year celebration; holds wreath-laying ceremony

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) community gathered for a wreath-laying ceremony to honor its founder, Dr. Manuel S. Enverga, at his monument in front of the University Gymnasium after the Thanksgiving Mass, as part of the kickoff activities of the the University’s 78th Founding Anniversary, Feb. 10.

University officials, faculty members, staff, and students attended the ceremony. Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Mr. Celso Jaballa, vice president of external relations; Atty. Dario R. Opistan, vice president for administration; Carlito Rodriguez, vice president for finance; and Ar. Jennifer Sanchez, dean of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, led the activity.

Dr. Flormando Baldovino, overall chairperson of the 78th Foundation Anniversary Celebration and dean of the College of Business and Accountancy, highlighted the significance of the event. “This ceremony reminds us of Dr. Enverga’s vision and commitment to education. His legacy continues to guide us in providing quality education and service to our community,” Dr. Baldovino said.

Other attendees included Engr. Cielito Maligalig, dean of the College of Engineering; Engr. Luzviminda Sinapilo, director of the Office of Quality and Improvement; Dr. Maricel D. Herrera, dean of the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management; and Mrs. Liza Regodon, university registrar. Representatives from the Rosarian Center for Creative Education Foundation Inc., the Corporate Planning and Development Office, the Learning Development Center, the Office of Sports and Cultural Relations, and the Human Resource Department also participated.

The Office of Student Affairs and Services, led by Dr. Joana Fe B. Panganiban and OSAS staff, organized the ceremony.
