CHED honors Enverga University with internationalization awards
MSEUF received two recognitions during the Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards 2025 hosted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at the Philippine International Convention Center, Dec. 10.
CHED honored the University for achieving the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 1001–1500 world ranking and for placing 157th in the World University Rankings for Innovation 2025, distinctions that highlight MSEUF’s growing global standing and commitment to internationalization.
Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, assistant to the Vice President for Academics and Research, accepted the awards on behalf of President and COO Naila Leveriza, Chairman and CEO Wilfrido Enverga, and Executive Vice President and VP for Academics and Research Benilda Villenas.
The ICONS Awards recognize Philippine higher education institutions that demonstrate global competitiveness, cultural diplomacy, sustainability leadership, and significant contributions to nation-building through international engagement.
The recognitions underscore the University’s commitment to Excellence and Service by advancing global visibility and strengthening international academic standards. They also reflect Unity and Fortitude as MSEUF continues to expand its reach and uphold transformative, outcomes-oriented education.
