Enverga University breaks ground for new Mauban campus; lays time capsule to mark historic milestone
MSEUF broke ground on its new Mauban campus and laid a commemorative time capsule during a ceremony on Nov. 28 in Barangay Polo, Mauban, signaling the start of campus construction.
The new two-level building will initially house Junior High School and Senior High School programs, with college offerings underway to expand access to quality education in Mauban and nearby communities.
Atty. Wilfrido Enverga, chairman of the Board and CEO of MSEUF, led the event with Mauban Mayor Erwin Pastrana, Vice Mayor Alween Sardea, DepEd Quezon OIC–Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Aris Barrago, Board Trustee Atty. Buenaventura Quiling, Vice President Atty. Dario Opistan, Project Architect Raul Villanueva, and GMJ Constructions owner Jerry Jaspio.
Executive Vice President and VP for Academics and Research Benilda Villenas opened the program by reaffirming the University’s mission to expand educational access and strengthen nation-building through values-driven learning.
The groundbreaking formally marked the start of construction, while the laying of the time capsule—with documents and memorabilia representing MSEUF’s mission and achievements—symbolized the long-term vision behind the establishment of the new campus.
Mayor Pastrana, Dr. Barrago, and Congressman Mark Enverga delivered messages of support, who underscored the importance of accessible education in countryside development and reaffirmed their support for initiatives benefiting the youth of Quezon Province.
Madame Mary Grace Enverga; VP for Finance and University Treasurer Carlito Rodriguez; Board Trustee Atty. Carlito Enverga; Affiliate Schools Coordinator Amelita Balagtas; AVP for Academics and Research Claudia Ayala; Sustainability Director Arby Lagman; and Corporate Planning and Development Director Leah Salas, alongside other officials, local leaders, and community partners also attended the event.
The program was hosted by VP for External Relations Celso Jaballa and OSEJPAR Director Maria Isabel Granada.
