INTI Malaysia, MSEUF hold virtual ceremonial MOU signing

The virtual ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between INTI Malaysia and MSEUF signals mutual cooperation and collaboration between the two universities.

As part of its initiatives towards internationalization, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) and the INTI University & Colleges (INTI) of Malaysia held a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding via Zoom, Jan. 31, to establish mutual cooperation and collaboration. 

The areas of cooperation include student mobility and visiting scholar program, academic programs collaboration, joint publication and research activities, exchange of academic materials and other information, scholarly activities, and other activities and programs as may be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

MSEUF University President Naila Leveriza led the MSEUF panel of executive officers, Senior Vice President and VP for Academics and Research Dr. Benilda Villenas, VP for Administration Dario Opistan, VP for External Relations Celso Jaballa, and VP for Finance Carlito Rodriguez.

College of Arts and Sciences Dean Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, College of Computing and Multimedia Studies Dean Rodrigo Belleza Jr., Office of Student Affairs and Services Director Joana Fe Panganiban, Research, Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center Director, Engr. Roselyn Maano, and Office of Scholarships, Endowment, Job Placement, and Alumni Relations Director Maria Isabel Granada also joined the ceremonial signing.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Joseph Lee, PhD, led the INTI representation, reflecting the commitment of both institutions to foster a dynamic and fruitful collaboration.


The collaboration between MSEUF and INTI aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The applicable SDGs include:

  • SDG 4: Quality Education: The partnership involves academic program collaboration, student mobility programs, and the exchange of academic materials, contributing to the goal of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals: The memorandum signing signifies a commitment to fostering international cooperation, supporting the global effort to achieve the SDGs through collaborative initiatives.
  • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: Joint research activities and academic collaborations often contribute to advancements in technology, innovation, and infrastructure
  • SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities: Programs like student mobility contribute to breaking down barriers and promoting equal opportunities in education.
  •  SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: Collaborative efforts in education and research can contribute to building strong institutions and promoting peaceful societies.
