Enverga University advances sustainability with energy-efficient campus upgrades, renewable goals
Enverga University implemented energy-efficient measures to promote sustainability and reduce its carbon footprint.
These measures included switching to LED lighting, installing solar-powered streetlights, and using energy-efficient appliances and equipment. LED lights use less energy than traditional bulbs, providing better brightness and lasting longer.
The university also invested in Energy Star-certified equipment and inverter air conditioning units to further reduce energy use.
Enverga University replaced traditional classroom projectors with LED TVs, which last longer and are more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
By 2030, the university aims to source 35% of its energy from renewable sources through solar panels, integrate smart building technology, and run workshops to teach students, faculty, and staff about energy conservation.
The university installed 44 solar-powered streetlights to ensure well-lit pathways and safe alleys for students, all contributing to a greener, more sustainable campus and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship
