MSEUF, DLL strengthened ties with library access agreement

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation and Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena signed a memorandum of agreement on June 16, 2024, in Lucena City to give DLL students free access to MSEUF library services and strengthen research support across both institutions.

MSEUF President Naila Leveriza and DLL officer in charge Alyssa Marie Mijares formalized the agreement, with University Library Director Myrna Casipit and College Librarian Mary Jane Eule as witnesses. The MOA opened MSEUF’s Circulation/Reserve, Reference/Filipiniana and periodicals sections to DLL students and committed staff assistance and a conducive research environment during visits. DLL agreed to require referral letters and valid identification and to join impact evaluations of the program.

“This partnership lowers barriers for DLL students and puts high-quality resources within reach,” Casipit said. “When libraries connect, learners win.” Mijares called the pact “a practical step toward equity,” noting that structured access and orientation will help students use collections responsibly and effectively.

This collaboration advanced MSEUF’s mission to deliver transformative, student-centered, outcomes-oriented education by sharing resources that improve academic success and research skills. It reflected the core values of Service and Unity through inter-campus cooperation, and Excellence by promoting rigorous scholarship.
