Quality Objectives

The College of Education is committed to providing students with education for useful membership and responsible leadership in society through its teacher and library education programs.

Towards the fulfillment of the University’s Vision, Mission, and Goals, the following are the specific quality objectives of the College:

  1. Attain at least a 7% enrolment increase every academic year for the next five years;  
  2. Deliver quality instruction by obtaining a rating higher than 4.5 using the five-point scale in the faculty performance evaluation;
  3. Demonstrate competence by achieving 85% and above performance rating in the pre-service teachers’ performance evaluation;
  4. Strengthen clinical supervision through regular midyear and year-end class visitation;
  5. Implement a reasonable allocation of resources through sustained customer satisfaction of 3.5 on a five-point scale;
  6. Record a consistent and competitive performance in the Licensure Examination either at par or beyond the national passing percentage for the next five years;
  7. Conduct one tracer study per program every five years to continuously track graduates’ careers; and
  8. Obtain one hundred percent faculty participation in research production and community extension services.
