Abstract
"Web-based Animal Bite Treatment Center Management Information System is designed
to help the users in managing their organization. Management Information Systems plays a huge
role in today’s businesses. How Information systems transformed business through the growth of
wireless technology uses, improved business by the use of web-based technologies, cloud
computing, digital platforms that agree to additional teamwork, decision-making, and
cooperation.
The researchers will provide web-based application that will record the company’s data,
provide databases for the storage of their data, and reports to help the users gain insights and
make decisions. The proposed system will help the users in their difficulties from their existing
system, which uses traditional methods like recording their data manually through pen and paper.
The researchers aimed to develop a system that could help the employees manage their
patients, inventory and give them some descriptive analytics to help them understand the data
that is entering the center. This would replace the paperworks like tallying, counting the
remaining and upcoming stocks of vaccine.
In developing the system, the proponent used exploratory prototyping. Unified Modeling
Language (UML) was also used to illustrate and document the system design. PHP, JavaScript,
HTML 5, CSS, and Xampp local host as database were used as development platform and tools
to develop the system and ISO 25010 for the evaluation of the system"
