Abstract

FollowingtheenactmentorofOrdinancne06-08, known as Tayabas Traffic Rules in the Local Government of Tayabas City, this research study was build in an attempt to evaluate the level of compliance of tricycle drivers to the traffic rules and regulations. Also, to determine the possible problems that arise and are encountered bybythetricycledriverswithregardstothetrafficrulesandregulations.Thisstudywas a quantitative research method and used descriptive research as a design. This also used a purposive sampling technique, particularly a non-probability technique in selecting the respondents. The respondents of the study are 50 selected Enforcers and 50 Selected Police Officers. Tayabas City is the location where the study was conducted. The researchers utilized a four-point Likert scale and three-part survey test questionnaires in gathering the data. questionnaires underwent validations from the experts and members of the college defense committee before it is distributed to the respondents. Data was gathered, computed, and analyzed using Frequency and Percentage Distribution and Weighted Arithmetic Mean as the statisticaltools used in the study. Upon getting the results and findings, an initiative to provide traffic safety instructions to solve the problem and traffic accidents and make the road safe was proposed.
