Completed2021

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the flexible learning implementation in CIHTM- MSEUF in Lucena City in terms of effectiveness, challenges, and differences in the student’s perception and importance of the guidelines of flexible learning. This study aimed to know the significant difference in students’ perceptions of flexible earning and the enhancement of the CIHTM implementation plan. The researchers used the descriptive method through an adopted questionnaire as the main data gathering. The total respondents are 120 students of the different programs each year, and it is recognized through quota sampling, which is every year, there is a quota number of respondents to have an equal number of students. The study findings show that the department conducted an awareness/orientation for the flexible learning-Basedam before the start of the semester, and students were encouraged to develop their skills continuously. The researchers find out that students experience difficulties handling the requirements for their studies. The CIHTM developed websites and LMS for delivering flexible learning syllabi, study guides, and learning resources. Most of the students who are aware of the flexible learning implementation plan are women. There can be no doubt that the Implementation of Online Flexible Learning established a program that enabled the students to continue their academic education despite a global pandemic. The CIHTM Department experiences minor disturbances, but at the same time, provides alternative modalities for both the students and professors to adapt to the new style of learning. The researchers recommended that the CIHTM integrate a more dynamic and engaging environment for the learners. Effective, flexible learning is highly recommended; they should focus on adding more interactive lessons in the movie-like presentation that will enhance the student’s attention and broaden their knowledge in a lively and more effective way of learning. This learning tool may serve as an aid for the instructors to catch the student’s attention and maybe their class hours not to be boring.
