Graduates of Bachelor of Science In Criminology Batch 2016- 2018 of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation: A Tracer Study

Abstract
The main objective of this tracer study was to determine the employability status of
criminology graduates from 2016 – to 2018 who were in the different agencies in line
with the law enforcement and public safety practices, and other related fields as well as
non-related fields. It is also not known to what extent, graduates’ competencies go in
line with the demands of the employers. This was to assess the employability and
current status of Graduates of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, Lucena City,
especially in the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology. The study used the
random sampling type of research method. This study also revealed the percentage of
graduates who are not yet employed and have never been employed.
This study concluded that the programs of the department give satisfaction and
helpful course to the chosen profession. It is also evaluated that CCJC Department
performs well to help in the future of the graduates. As revealed the Manuel S. Enverga
University Foundation gives what expected when it comes to its competencies and
program. In terms of skills used they excel when it comes to skills and talents in the
department and the university. This study recommends that the course chosen help to
have a good salary, to give a better edge when it comes to the employability. The courses of BS Criminology have a connection to the current profession. The professors
of the Department of College of Criminal Justice and Criminology is trained and
instructed when it comes to academic excellence.
