Requirements:

  • At least 5'3" in height
  • Flexible in dancing with a baton
  • Knows how to twirl a baton
  • With a pleasing personality
Flag Bearers

Requirements:

  • At least 5'3" in height
  • Knows how to maneuver a flag while marching
  • With a pleasing personality

Chamberwinds By-Laws Overview:

The MSEUF Chamberwinds operates under a comprehensive constitution and by-laws, ensuring structure and discipline within the organization.

  • Membership: Two categories – Resident Members (Scholars) and Trainees. Both must pass auditions and meet performance standards.
  • Policies: Rules on attendance, uniforms, practice, engagements, meetings, and performance evaluations.
  • Officers: Managed by a nine-member executive committee.
  • Sanctions: Covers misconduct, tardiness, and policy violations.
  • Financial Management: Fund collection and expenditure are overseen by the Treasurer and Auditor.
  • Amendments: Changes require a 70% member vote or majority approval.

This serves as a framework for the Chamberwinds, ensuring its smooth functioning and adherence to its mission of promoting musical excellence and fostering a sense of community amongst its members.

  • Scholarship Grant: Students after going through the 1 to 2 years training process will then face a written evaluation of their skills, attendance, and attitude. These components will be the guidelines for attaining scholarship grants.
  • Leadership Development: Gain real-world experience in teamwork, time management, and communication.
  • Discipline and Work Ethic: Learn accountability, time management, and commitment to excellence.
  • Networking & Connections: Represent MSEUF, build relationships, and grow your personal and professional network.

Audition Details:
  • Regular Audition: Held at the beginning of the first semester each school year.
  • Special Audition: Conducted on the last Sunday of every month.
