Enverga University strengthens health partnerships in Quezon, Vietnam

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation documented current collaborations with Quezon Provincial Hospital Network–Quezon Medical Center in Lucena, Mt. Carmel Diocesan General Hospital, and Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam, to improve health and well-being outcomes through clinical training, internships, exchanges, and joint research.

The College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences signed a memorandum with QPHN–QMC to give nursing students structured clinical exposure alongside partner schools in Quezon Province.

CNAHS also sealed an agreement with Mt. Carmel Diocesan General Hospital to place Medical Technology students in supervised hospital internships for the 2023–2024 academic year. “This internship program marked a significant step in fostering professional growth among Medical Technology students while building stronger connections between the university, its partner institutions, and the community,” CNAHS Dean Maria Corazon Valdeavilla said.

On April 24–25, a CNAHS team met counterparts at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy to plan student and faculty mobility and collaborative research. “By harnessing the collective expertise of both institutions, the collaboration aimed to elevate the standard of healthcare education and delivery, ultimately benefiting communities locally and globally,” Valdeavilla said.

These concurrent local and international engagements showed MSEUF’s active partnerships with health institutions that build capacity, enhance workforce readiness, and support better care for communities.

These collaborations advanced MSEUF’s mission to deliver relevant, excellent programs and aligned with outcomes-oriented and student-centered learning by immersing learners in real clinical environments and international exchange. They reflected Excellence, Unity, and Service as the university worked with hospitals and a foreign health university to strengthen health systems and community well-being.
