MSEUF reviews, advances international best practices through global research collaborations

In 2024, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation MSEUF demonstrated its commitment to reviewing comparative approaches and developing international best practices in tackling the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs through its growing network of research collaboration and global linkages.

MSEUF strengthened its international academic partnerships, notably forging formal agreements in February 2024 with Indonesian institutions — including the Universitas Pancasila and the GS FAME Institute of Business/Institut Bisnis Nusantara — to engage in joint research, faculty and student exchange, and program development in tourism, hospitality and business education.

That same year MSEUF engaged in exploratory discussions with the University of Technology Sydney’s Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research, exploring joint research on Indigenous Peoples, language revitalisation and livelihood development.

Additionally, MSEUF co-organised the 3rd International Conference on Advances in Information and Communications Technology in Vietnam in November 2024, where faculty presented research projects in partnership with institutions like Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology, thus enabling cross-national comparison of research themes in technology, infrastructure and innovation.

hese collaborative efforts reflect MSEUF’s institutional mechanism via its Global Engagement Office, which supports linkages spanning student and faculty exchange, joint research programs, and benchmarking of international practices.

Through these interconnected activities MSEUF is reviewing comparative approaches — such as Indigenous education models in Australia, research-industry linkages in Vietnam, and cross-border tourism/hospitality curricula between Indonesia and the Philippines — and integrating them into its institutional practices. These steps support the development of international best practices for sustainable education, innovation and community engagement aligned with the SDGs.
