WE CARE to SHINE

WE CARE to SHINE which means, “Well-balanced Employees – Committed, Allied, Responsive and Engaged to a Safe, Healthy, Integrity-driven and Neat Enverga University.”  is an Administrative Program and Intervention of the OVPA.

 

The following programs are major and targeted to transform administrative services into proactive, cost-efficient, and dynamic solutions attuned to the requirements of the fast-evolving Enverga University.

Programs of the Administrative Council under SHINE:
SAFE– Safe & Accident Free Enverga
Purpose and Mehcanics: Provide leadership in ensuring the safety of all stakeholders by proactive safety orientations, accident prevention, and full compliance with statutory safety regulations
Leader: Health and Safety Officer (Mr. Arby Lagman)
  • Safety, first to our team
  • Comply with statutory requirements
  • Revisit and evaluate the existing safety measures of crucial offices
  • Implement and promote health and safety programs by conducting drills and issuing reminders (online and symbolic)
  • Create or reactivate the emergency response team

HEALTHY– Roving Health Care Services
Purpose and Mehcanics: Provide leadership in ensuring good health of all stakeholders through collaboration with the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences in giving proactive health and medical interventions by establishing health stations in every building of the University to check on a regular monthly schedule the blood pressure, blood sugar level and body temperature of employees and interested students.
Leader: Medical and Dental Services (Dr. Melo Justiniano)
Collaborator: CNAHS – School RLE (c/o Dean Cosette Valdeavilla and Dr. Esteve)
Establish a health station in every building of the University following a monthly schedule to check

INTEGRITY-DRIVEN – Gawad Manuel
An annual multifaceted award to recognize outstanding employees and the best-performing department.
Purpose and Mehcanics: Provide leadership in managing conflicts, ethics, and discipline through well-structured policies and reward and recognize employees through a program that encourages good performance, reinforces low-performers, and brings out the best in people.
Leader: Human Resource Department (Dr. Maria Sylvia S. Avila)
Collaborator: Office of the President/COO and Chairman/CEO
  • Formulate a scorecard and recommend an Award Committee
  • Create the Awards (i.e. Transformative Teacher, Social Change Award, Emerging
  • Leader, Loyalty Award, Skilled Worker, Outstanding Department)
  • Continue the Employee Wellness Program
  • Send e-greetings for birthdays, promotions, recognition, etc. 
  • Compassion and care to ill or bereaved employees by sending e-cards, or baskets of fruits or flowers

NEAT – SPRINT (Specialized Preventive  Maintenance Intervention and Neatness Team)
The university facilities were divided into three clusters which shall be regularly monitored by three (3) roving SPRINT teams
Purpose and Mehcanics: Provide leadership to ensure the efficiency of physical facilities, supplies and materials, and construction development through a proactive and preventive maintenance system by regular, consistent, and coordinated management or resolution of repairs and maintenance works.

Collaborator: Property, Procurement, and Pollution Control Officer
  • Create three teams of RSMT
  • Formulate a roving schedule
  • Prioritize projects following the order as Hazard, Visible Urgent, Non-Visible Urgent, and Important.

Enverga University – WIT (Work Innovation Team)
A think tank committee whose members are subject matter experts in administrative functions
Purpose and Mehcanics: Provide leadership to innovate the delivery of administrative works with the assistance of WIT – a think tank that determines and recommends measures for the efficient, innovative, cost-effective, and expeditious conduct of administrative functions.
Leader: Office of the Vice President for Administration
