Forty-four partners including 18 from the government, 22 from the industry, and 4 alumni associations were recognized as members of the Enverga University Advisory Council during the 1st Partners Summit held on Oct. 4 at the AEC Little Theater.

The summit served as a platform to promote partnerships between the University and its key stakeholders to advance innovation and collaboration that will enhance the University’s capacity to deliver transformative education.

Through the partnerships, MSEUF can strengthen its curriculum, align with industry needs, and ensure its graduates’ high employability.

The advisory council is expected to be called by their respective college whenever there is a need to gather their insights on the emerging trends in the industry, including the hard and soft employability skills-set that will be incorporated in the curriculum. This collaboration will fully equip graduates to contribute meaningfully to society and the workforce.

Aside from collaboration, the summit introduced the need for innovation to drive the various development programs of the University to fruition. Engr. Jude S. Soliman, the Chief Executive Office and President of HYTEC POWER, INC., in his impassioned speech emphasized the company’s commitment to offer real industry solutions to bridge the job-skills gap and fostering genuine collaboration to benefit stakeholders.

According to Soliman, a strong collaboration between academia is essential to driving innovation, developing products and services that will propel economic growth, and foster a culture of entrepreneurship which our country needs to become more competitive. "There is no other way but to collaborate, to build a nation that thrives on innovation and opportunity." Soliman said.

"His statement supports the Office of Scholarships & Endowment, Job Placement and Alumni Relations (OSEJPAR)'s slogan, to forge partnerships and create opportunities." OSEJPAR Director Maria Isabel Granada shared.

In his welcome message, Vice President Celso Jaballa acquainted partners on the status and rank of the University in Quezon Province and in Region IV-A.

"Internationalization efforts are underway in the realization of the University’s mission to become globally competitive by 2030." VP Jaballa said.

Dr. Benilda N. Villenas, the Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the President also shared that the innovation and collaboration are also being underscored in the University.

"innovation is a courage to reimagine boundaries of what is possible, through creative thinking and strategic partnerships and forward-looking initiatives that empowers students to thrive in an unpredictable future”. Dr. Villenas said.

The summit was also attended by the college deans and directors who collaborate to achieve the Institutional Development Plan of the University.
