Third-year students from various academic programs joined “Career ATLAS: The Heart Hunt – What Top Companies Seek in the 21st Century Workforce” at the University Gymnasium on March 5, to strengthen their career readiness and understanding of today’s employment demands.

Registration began at 8 a.m., welcoming students to a program designed to help them prepare for their future careers. The activity focused on guiding participants as they navigate their chosen career paths and develop the skills needed to succeed in a competitive job market.

In his opening remarks, Rey Marco Casiño, officer-in-charge of Student Affairs and Services, emphasized the importance of preparedness in building a strong career foundation. He said understanding one’s career path is closely connected to personal growth and overall well-being.

The resource speaker delivered an insightful presentation on practical strategies for job applications and the realities of the employment process. The discussion highlighted what top companies seek in potential employees, including relevant qualifications, strong communication skills, adaptability and professional readiness.

The speaker also encouraged students to master their skills and understand their strengths as they prepare for employment. She shared interview tips, including important dos and don’ts, which helped students gain a clearer view of how to present themselves confidently to future employers.
