OSAS promotes student well-being through therapeutic art activity

Supporting student self-awareness, emotional expression and well-being, the Office of Student Affairs and Services conducted Module 1 of its Therapeutic Art Activity, titled “Discovery and Awareness: Beyond the Vibe – Unmasking Myself,” for Envergans.
Guidance Counselor Ms. Aira facilitated the activity, which provided students with a supportive space to express their thoughts, emotions and experiences through creative art.
The first module brought together a small group of students from the College of Engineering and the College of Business and Accountancy. The intimate setting encouraged participants to reflect, connect with one another and explore meaningful forms of self-expression.
Through the activity, participants engaged in creative exercises designed to promote self-discovery, self-awareness and emotional expression while supporting their overall well-being.
OSAS plans to continue the Therapeutic Art Activity through succeeding modules, providing more Envergans with opportunities to participate in reflective and creative experiences that support holistic student development.
The initiative forms part of OSAS’ continuing efforts to foster a supportive University environment where students can strengthen self-awareness, emotional well-being and personal growth.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered and holistic development by providing students with opportunities for reflection, creative expression and personal growth. It also reflected the core values of Mindfulness and Service by promoting self-awareness, empathy and a supportive campus environment.
