Expanding career opportunities for graduates and strengthening industry linkages, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation and Westside Resort Manila formalized their partnership through a memorandum of agreement signing on Aug. 25 at the Dr. Tobias Y. Enverga Sr. Alumni Center, where a local recruitment activity also resulted in four MSEUF alumni being hired on the spot.

The activity ran from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and brought together University representatives and Westside Resort Manila to establish a long-term collaboration focused on connecting students and graduates with internship and employment opportunities.

Representing MSEUF were Vice President for External Relations Celso Jaballa, Maria Isabel Granada, head of CSCJPS, and Divinia Glifonea, head of the Alumni Relations Office. Lourdes Lacia, HR head consultant, represented Westside Resort Manila.

Following the agreement signing, Westside Resort Manila conducted a local recruitment activity for MSEUF graduates. The initiative provided alumni with direct access to employment opportunities, with four applicants receiving job offers during the activity.

The partnership aims to strengthen connections between higher education and industry by creating pathways for internship, employment and professional development. It also provides Westside Resort Manila with access to MSEUF graduates who can contribute to its workforce needs.

Through the collaboration, the University strengthened its continuing support for alumni beyond graduation while expanding industry partnerships that promote graduate employability and career mobility.

The partnership supported the University’s commitment to developing professionally prepared graduates by connecting academic preparation with direct industry opportunities. It also reflected the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity through sustained career assistance, industry collaboration and continuing support for the MSEUF alumni community.
