Enverga University welcomes new faculty, employees during Institutional Orientation


With the theme: "Igniting EUr Success: Journey with MSEUF" 45 newly hired and newly permanent faculty and employees participated in the 2026–2027 Institutional Orientation conducted by the Human Resource Department, DTYES Alumni Center, July 24.
The one-day onboarding program introduced participants to Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation's culture, policies, programs, and strategic priorities as they officially began their journey with the University.
The program opened with welcome messages from Atty. Dario Opistan, acting senior vice president and vice president for administration; Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, acting vice president for academics and research and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Mr. Carlito Rodriguez, vice president for finance and treasurer; and Mr. Celso Jaballa, vice president for external relations.
The University leaders welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of living the University's core values, maintaining professionalism, fostering collaboration, delivering service excellence, and remaining committed to the institution's mission, vision, and goals.
Throughout the orientation, participants attended sessions led by University officials and department heads, including Dr. Jennifer Reyes, head of Global Engagement and Linkages; Ms. Leah Salas, head of the Center for Institutional Planning and Quality Assurance; Mr. John Rover Sinag, head of the Center for Marketing Innovation and Digital Engagement; Engr. Katrina Ruth Avillo, data protection officer; Mr. Arby Lagman, head of the Sustainability Department; Dr. Milagrosa Lawas, head of Community Extension Services; and Dr. Maria Sylvia Avila, head of the Human Resource Department.
The sessions provided participants with essential information on international engagement, institutional planning and quality assurance, marketing and digital engagement, data privacy, sustainability initiatives, community extension services, and human resource policies. The orientation equipped new members of the MSEUF community with the knowledge and resources needed to perform their roles effectively while fostering a strong sense of belonging and commitment to the University's core values.
The 2026–2027 Institutional Orientation reflects Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation's commitment to excellence in teaching, quality assurance, and institutional development by preparing new faculty and employees to contribute effectively to the University's mission. The program supports the University's vision of becoming a globally competitive institution by promoting professionalism, collaboration, and continuous learning while reinforcing its core values of Mindfulness, Service, Excellence, Unity, and Fortitude. It also advances the institutional direction, "Vision in progress. Toward 2030, Enverga University advances global competitiveness through excellence in teaching, quality assurance, and international recognition," by ensuring that new personnel understand the University's standards, priorities, and strategic goals.
