MSEUF dancesport team wins 22 medals at Bulacan Open Dancesport Championship

The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) dancesport team won 22 medals at the Bulacan Open Dancesport Championship on Sept. 14 at Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in Malolos, Bulacan, dominating both standard and Latin categories.

Gian Franco Hernandez and Cairistiona Surio led the team with double golds in Pre-Amateur Standard and Novice Standard, plus silvers in Amateur Open A Standard and Rising Star Standard.

Fillip Zander Hernandez and Precious Jewel Manalo swept golds in Tertiary Waltz and Quickstep, adding silver in Tertiary Tango, bronze in Tertiary C Standard, and a 6th-place finish in Amateur Open A Standard.

In the Latin category, Carl Jeffrey Desamiro and Krissom Ariem Palima earned silvers, while Jefferson Mark Reyes and Kim Irish Zoleta took 6th place in Tertiary Chachacha.

The team’s final tally reached eight golds, 10 silvers, and four bronzes under the guidance of coach Liezl Villadiego.

“Our dancers showed resilience and excellence on the floor, proving that Envergans can compete with the best,” Villadiego said.
