MSEUF opens 78th foundation anniversary booth fair celebrating Philippine festivals
The University Collegiate Student Council (UCSC) led the opening of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s (MSEUF) 78th Foundation Anniversary Booth Fair, featuring college departments and student organizations with exhibits inspired by Philippine festivals.
The United Architects of the Philippines Students Auxiliary (UAPSA) designed the welcome arch, integrating creative elements from various cultural celebrations.
Each college and student organization showcased booths representing assigned festivals. The College of Architecture and Fine Arts featured the Paru-Paru Festival, the College of Arts and Sciences highlighted the Dinagyang Festival, and the College of Business and Accountancy presented the Maskara Festival. The College of Computing and Multimedia Studies showcased the Sinulog Festival, while the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology displayed the Pintados Festival. The College of Education exhibited the Ati-Atihan Festival.
Other booths included the College of Engineering with the Niyogyugan Festival, the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management with the Kadayawan Festival, and the College of Maritime Education with the Panagbenga Festival. The College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences showcased the Bangus Festival, while the Basic Education Department featured the Hermosa Festival.
UCSC President Gianne Pagana encouraged students and guests to explore the exhibits as part of the weeklong celebration of MSEUF’s 78th Foundation Anniversary, which will run until Feb. 14.
"This booth fair brings together different generations of Envergans to celebrate culture, creativity, and community. It reflects our shared identity and commitment to honoring tradition while embracing the future," Pagana said.
The fair serves as a platform for students to showcase their creativity, promote cultural appreciation, and strengthen university spirit throughout the anniversary celebration
